My first ever shipping of boxer briefs is finally on the plane! It took an insane amount of hours to get to this point where I can write this post.
I never wanted to create just a new "brand" of men's underwear for the sake of it. Most brands out there don't offer anything different, for me at least. Outside of the big few, nobody really solved problems. They simply made a pair of underwear with a new name.
From the beginning of this I never thought of "Nether" as just a new brand of men's basics or even a brand of underwear. I started this because I never found a pair of boxer briefs that truly solved my problem. Every day at work I'd still be pulling my underwear down through my work pants, no matter what the brand claimed. This was the issue I vowed to solve. It had nothing to do with building a brand or building something that's already been done with a new name. I set out to build a true solution to my problems.
I had no idea how many failures, setbacks, and thousands of hours it would take given I had zero contacts, zero experience, and zero knowledge in the garment industry. Yet here I am, almost three years to the dot of having my first product.
I couldn't have done any of this without the support of so many people and the amazing few who told me my idea worked for them in the first place. It's crazy how one sentence can keep you going for years on a never-ending battle.
Shipment lands this week, February 13th. Orders will start delivering as soon as I can after that. Kelowna locals get their underwear shipped free as soon as next day upon shipment received.
