How to Measure

Get it right the first time.

Find your natural waist

Stand relaxed. Your natural waist is the narrowest point of your torso, typically just above the belly button.

Wrap the tape

Use a flexible measuring tape. Keep it parallel to the floor and snug against your skin - not tight, not loose.

Read the number

Exhale normally and read the measurement. That's your waist size. Reference our size chart above.

Pro tip: No tape measure? Use a string or phone charger cable, mark it, then measure against a ruler.

I'm between sizes. What should I do?

Size up. Our TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric has excellent 4-way stretch and will conform to your body without losing shape. A slightly larger size will feel comfortable without being loose. If it doesn't work out, we offer free exchanges.

I have larger thighs. Will these ride up?

Our 6" inseam combined with Trail Grip™ silicone leg bands is specifically designed to stay put. Most customers with athletic builds report zero ride-up, even during intense workouts. If you're concerned, size up for a bit more room in the thigh.

How does Nether compare to SAXX or BN3TH?

BN3TH sizing is nearly identical to ours - same size will work. SAXX runs slightly larger in the M-XL range, so if you're on the edge of a SAXX size, you might size down in Nether. Check our brand comparison chart above for exact measurements.

Will the fabric stretch out over time?

TENCEL™ Lyocell is known for shape retention. Unlike cotton, it bounces back after washing and wearing. To maximize longevity: machine wash cold, hang dry or tumble low. Avoid high heat - it's the enemy of elastic fibers.
